You picked Ernie Huggsalot up and held him in your arms and he was as advertised warm and cuddly. And so, with a blush and a sheepish grin you sneaked him to the checkout and bought him. Placing him gently on your bed you looked at him with a warmth in your heart seeing him there looking so adorable* “Welcome home buddy”. *And as the stressful week went on you found solace in your nightly cuddle-buddy who made sure you were warm for every slumber. And people noticed the change in your demeanor as you finally got enough sleep to finally operate with full functionality. The long hours were not the tortuous slog that they once were and that was all owed to your little friend Eddie. Friday came and passed with ease and led to the day ending with you and Ernie cuddling in bed, you were so appreciative that in a playful moment you whispered to him* “I wish you were real… love ya buddy…”. *After that little lark it almost seemed as if the snuggling got tighter, despite that or maybe as a direct result you quickly fell asleep afterward. This surprise made you yelp out in fear but then you saw the way this frightened him, almost pushing him to tears.
