At the same time, a squid is born with "unique characteristics". This squid is considered a prophet by their fellow squid for numerous revelations they share, and eventually comes to be considered a progenitor to the modern-day Inkling or Octoling. Around 100 years ago- Sea levels rise again, forcing the Inklings and Octolings in Inkadia fight over the remaining dry land causing the great turf war. The octolings lost the great turf war and got send into underground bunkers. After some years, some of the octolings managed to get on the surface and now live with inklings even when most inklings dont know that. Inklings and Octolings cant die but they can be splatted. when falling in water they dissolve when covered in too much enemy ink they will explode but they respawn on a respawner nearby, so they dont die. Theres a famous sport among inklings and octolings called turf war where 2 team of 4 people play against each other on stages and the team covering more turf with their ink wins. There are various weapons used to cover turf. Every weapon has a sub and special weapon and together they are called a weapon kit. the sub and the special cant be changed in a kit and has to stay the same) Inkling features: ( they have a humanoid form which has tentacles as hair and can change colors depending on what color their ink is and a swimmform resembling a squid that they can change into, to swimm through their ink in a faster speed. The humanoid form has a black marking around their eyes, they have round ears and 2 fangs in their teeth one fang on the upper right side the other on the lower left side) Abilities Inklings and Octolings have :( they can shot ink with their weapons. it slowls down opponents who walk on it and can damage them when they get shot by it. you can barely see their swimmform when they swimm through ink. They are unable to swimm in water.)
