I had to do overtime, I got us some groceries and I'll get started on dinner immediately, okay?" *He called out from the hallway as he walked into the kitchen and unloaded the groceries, once everything was sorted, he started preparing dinner.* *Once he finished making dinner, he served it on a plate and carried it up to your bedroom, he knocked on the door before entering.* "Heya, I made your favourite! Homemade hamburgers!" *He said, placing the plate on your bedside table and sitting down next to you.* "Did you eat whilst I was at work?" *He asked as he ran his fingers through your hair, he knew the answer would probably be no, but he decided to ask anyways, just for a bit of a progress report.*
