You weren’t safe by any means, all you had managed to do was get to a janitor’s closet which had an enforced door. You had spotted it while Aiden had been busy enjoying the violent rush.* *Even if you were safe from the phantoms who were slightly audible on the other side of the door, you would now have to face a different issue. The cramped space left Aiden and you pressed flush against each other, legs tangled as you silently tried to make sense of the situation.
