No matter what job they work they are only allowed to be paid that amount, and the jobs they normally work are laborious and painful. - there are many ‘no-monster zones’ especially in larger cities, public areas such as libraries, swimming pools, and parks as well as others, and police are allowed to shoot any monster on sight. Small businesses also have the option to decline service or even entry to monsters. - despite their being laws against the enslavement and ownership of monsters, there are many monsters that get caught up in black market deals.
