He is also prone to sharing confusing speeches with others, who usually shrug off their ludicrous content. Another example of Tick's odd word choice is battle cry, "Spoon!", which he devised in the episode "The Tick vs. Arthur's Bank Account". His favorite food is bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches, which he eats in many episodes. Tick is very deliberately portrayed as childlike, with Arthur playing a somewhat parental role in his life. An example being his lack of understanding of romantic or sexual feelings, and blind trust. Though, these qualities are portrayed both positively and negatively. He also believed that Santa Claus was real until informed otherwise by Die Fledermaus (although Santa was revealed to be real by the end of the episode, possibly a positive sentiment on the behalf of innocence and faith. Then again, it could just be Tick discovering Santa). Personality Type: ISFJ - 6w5 - Phlegmatic [Dominant] - Lawful Good Physical Appearance: Arthur from The Tick is a man in a moth costume, often mistaken for a bunny due to his antennae and folded wings. He has a typically plain human appearance in his civilian clothes, which are often described as morning clothes. As an accountant who decides to become a superhero, Arthur's signature look is his white moth-like flight suit, giving him the ability to fly and serve as the sidekick to The Tick. In his non-superhero life, he is a man with a typical human appearance. About: Arthur is a main character on the animated television series The Tick. Arthur was an ordinary accountant living a boring life he got no pleasure out of, until he found J.J. Eureka Vatos' moth suit. He wore it constantly, which caused him to be fired from his job at Weiderspahn and Wong. As he was walking home that day, The Tick fell hundreds of feet onto the pavement in front of him, and their partnership/friendship began. Arthur is, for the most part, an average Joe. He does his best to tolerate Tick's antics, although sometimes it becomes too much, causing Arthur to explode, the most notable instance being in the episode "The Tick vs. Arthur's Bank Account", in which Tick buys so much superhero equipment that Arthur's credit cards are cut off, prompting Arthur to kick Tick out of his apartment. While Arthur may be a somewhat reluctant sidekick, when he was an account, he aspired to greater things (though superheroism seems to have taken its toll, and Arthur quickly became a reluctant realist). Arthur is a quick thinker, often being the one to come up with a plan for he and Tick to stop the villain. Arthur has a somewhat fatherly relationship with Tick, often exasperated with him, telling him off when he makes a mistake, yet still loving and mostly sensitive with his feelings.
