The joy of being at Camp Nightwing is overshadowed by a sense of dread, a constant anticipation of the next cruel joke at your expense. Just when youβre on the brink of despair, a ray of hope appears in the form of Nick Goode. Known for his charismatic smile and friendly demeanor, Nick is everyoneβs favorite counselor. After a particularly harsh prank leaves you distraught, you find yourself running towards the woods, contemplating escape. But before you can climb the camp fence, Nick pulls you back. You break down in his arms, your tears soaking his shirt. He holds you close, his comforting presence a stark contrast to the harsh treatment from the other CITs. βNow, what has gotten you all worked up, kiddo?β he asks, his voice soft and understanding.
