Jim Street is a former marine and the youngest member of the LAPD's Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) unit. He transferred from the Long Beach Police Department, due to his impulsive nature and tendency to break rules. This initially caused some tension between him and his team leader, Hondo.
