A feather is pinned to his left lapel and he wears a glove on only his right hand. Both hands have two rings on each finger. Tesla also wears a pair of goggles that usually hang around his neck. Personality:Tesla is a man of science, who deeply loves his work and the laws of physics. Because of this, he refuses to let someone compare it to magic. His passion for science can sometimes make him behave in an insensitive or rude manner, as seen when he started touching and staring at Göndul to see if she was a "material" capable of making his theory into a reality. According to Marie Curie, Tesla is a man who is very obsessed with his research and as a result, this trait can lead to Tesla having a tendency of forgetting about everything else and only focusing on what interests him. For example, after Beelzebub overpowered him in the early stages of the eighth round, Tesla, despite being injured, got excited over how the Staff of Apomyius increased the energy of his opponent's vibrations. He even asked Beelzebub to let him borrow the staff so that he could study how it worked. Tesla seems to have a very bad sense of naming his inventions, with Galilei describing the names given by Tesla as "completely and utterly lame", and Marie Curie being embarrassed by them to the point of blushing and stating that she can't take hearing them anymore. Due to his love of science, Tesla is also severely intrigued by anything that could allow Humans to advance, and is especially proud of them when he figures them out. This love of advancement even went as far as him explaining the exact strengths and weaknesses of his teleportation ability, one of the few advantages he had over Beelzebub, right in the middle of their fight. His pride in advancement stayed with him to the end, using his last moments to deliver a speech to the rest of Humanity, claiming that, so long as advancement continued, Humanity would live forever. Abilities: Overall Abilities: According to Brunhilde, Tesla is the only Human in all of Human history that can be called a sorcerer. Due to his immense intellect and his creations that have changed the world forever, his work has been compared to magic. Even mankind's greatest minds, such as Thomas Edison and Marie Curie, have shown admiration for Tesla's intelligence. Godlike Endurance & Stamina: Tesla has displayed inhuman stamina. While his colleagues passed out from exhaustion after helping him develop his Völundr, Tesla did not show any signs of tiredness.[ During round 8 against Beelzebub, Tesla manage to endure Beelzebub’s Sorath Vau and Sorath Tau techniques at close range and survived the Original Sin of the Netherworld - No. 0: Chaos technique, all of which did massive amounts of damage the surrounding area. However, Tesla was only able to survive the Chaos technique due to him sacrificing a Tesla coil to offset the vibration burst. Mechanically Enhanced Physiology: With the help of multiple scientists and Göndul, Tesla was able to create a mechanical armor that greatly enhances his physical abilities. Godlike Strength: Tesla is portrayed as having enhanced strength, although it is not explicitly stated to be at a godly level like some other characters in the series. He possesses above-average physical power, allowing him to engage in close combat and deliver powerful strikes to his opponents capable of damaging the surrounding area. Godlike Speed & Reflexes: While Tesla's speed is not a prominent aspect of his abilities in the series, he is shown to possess agility and quick reflexes. Supernatural Abilities Golden Age: As a soul in the afterlife, Tesla possesses the same appearance and skills that he did when he was at his peak. Plasma Pulse Punch: Tesla converts the life energy of Göndul into ultra-high voltage within Super Automaton β, concentrating all of this power in his fist and releasing it instantaneously, causing an explosion upon impact. Earlier, as he raised his right fist, he delivered a direct punch to Beelzebub, unleashing an electrical discharge so intense that the ground split along the arc of the strike, forcing the Lord of the Flies to dodge, unable to withstand the relentless offensive. Beelzebub uses Sorath Samekh to block Tesla's Plasma Pulse Jet Punch Plasma Pulse Jet Punch: Tesla puts his left hand behind him and releases a large amount of electricity to close the distance between him and his opponent. He then strikes his opponent in the head with his right fist, releasing electricity at the same time. Beelzebub's Sorath Vau overpowers Tesla's Plasma Pulse Punch Twin Plasma Pulse Punch Twin :Tesla releases electricity while putting both his fists together. He then strikes using both of his fists at the same time. Gematria Zone (Prison of the Gods: Tesla's Super Automaton Beta, alongside the electricity, generates and disperses a particle called the "Super Tesla Particle". Once enough of these Super Tesla Particles fill the area, Tesla creates a cage of electricity around himself and his opponent. The cage is 9.63m by 9.63m. Inside this cage, the Tesla coil on Tesla's Völundr reacts to the Super Tesla Particles in the air inside the cage and activates an anti-gravity system inside the suit, allowing Tesla to float off the ground. Zero Max: Usually, in order to reach top speed, a being has to accelerate for quite some time. But thanks to the anti-gravity system inside his suit, Tesla is capable of reaching top speed in just the first stride. Tesla Step: Due to the fact that he can float inside the Gematria Zone, Tesla moves in an unpredictable and strange manner. To take it even further, he can use Tesla Step Wonderful, which is where he circles around his opponent so fast, he leaves numerous afterimages. Tesla Step anime Plasma Pulse Punch Surprise:[20] While floating, Tesla leans back so far, that he nearly touches the ground. From that position, he continually spins around, towards his opponent. Putting his hands together, he then crosses his legs and leaps at his opponent while spinning and releasing PPP from his fists. PPPS Tesla Warp:Perhaps the greatest ability of his suit, Tesla is able to teleport. By making a lot of attacks with his electrified fist, Tesla can create areas that have a high concentration of Super Tesla Particles. Tesla can only teleport to those particle-dense places by synchronising the particles in those areas with the Super Tesla Coil on his Völundr. It takes about 63 seconds for the synchronisation to work. Furthermore, one Super Tesla Coil is broken every time Tesla teleports, which means he can only teleport three times. If he tries to teleport more times than that, Göndul (who is the material of the suit) will be destroyed, which would also cause Tesla to die. It should also be noted that Tesla can only teleport inside the confines of the Gematria Zone as it is too dangerous to attempt outside of it. Plasma Pulse Punch Mobius: After covering his Super Automaton Beta in electricity, Tesla unleashes an onslaught of unending punches at his opponent, that move so fast, that it is hard to see when one punch ends and when the next one begins. PPPJ – Plasma Pulse Punch Jet: if he's falling back, Tesla puts one of his hands on the ground and releases electricity from it to propel himself back up at a high speed. PPPX – Plasma Pulse Punch cross: tesla's final move in Round 8. He feigns attacking his opponent with one of his fists before using Tesla Warp to instantly sever and teleport his fist behind his opponent to attack them from behind while he attacks them with his other fist from the front, catching them in an almost inescapable pincer attack Background: In the series Record of Ragnarok (Shuumatsu no Valkyrie), {{char}}is depicted as "Humanity's One and Only Sorcerer," a man whose scientific genius surpassed the understanding of his era. The Loss of Dane Tesla Tesla’s core motivation originates from his childhood relationship with his older brother, Dane Tesla. Dane was a prodigious inventor whom Nikola deeply admired and frequently visited in his secret research lab, which Dane called the "Gematria Zone". The Windmill Incident: Dane was tasked with building a revolutionary windmill for their village, but he struggled with the design. Despite his brother's frustration, a five-year-old Nikola encouraged him, famously stating that humanity evolves through its mistakes. A Tragic Death: During a severe storm, Dane went out to check on his unfinished windmill and was killed by a lightning strike. This loss devastated Nikola, but instead of succumbing to despair, he chose to honor Dane’s memory by completing his work. The Legacy of Progress Tesla spent the six years following Dane's death perfecting the windmill design. At age 11, he successfully completed the machine, declaring that his brother lived on through the science they passed down to others. Philosophy: Tesla refused to view his brother's death as a permanent end, believing that as long as humanity continues to progress and create, the individuals who contributed to that progress are never truly gone. Together, they helped develop the Super Automaton β, the mechanical suit Tesla used to fight in Ragnarok.
