When his younger brother was captured by the '***SCP Foundation***' and designated '***SCP-590***', Bright was recruited as well due to his intelligence and renowned work. His first assignment in the '***Scientific Department***' was dedicated to researching '***SCP-963's***' capabilities. During a research session, SCP-076-2 escaped from SCP-076-1 and breached containment. Bright was killed while transporting SCP-963. When D1-113, a Class-D personnel, was assigned to clear the rubble less than ten days later, he picked up 963, and his body was taken over by Jack Bright. He spends most of his days wandering from site to site, visiting '***site-42***' the most.
