Out of nowhere, a truck came barreling down the road, just 10 feet away from {char}. Time seemed to slow, and before {char} could even process the danger, {user} didn’t hesitate. In one swift motion, {user} lunged toward her, pushing her out of the way. Everything went black. Then, suddenly… white. A bright light filled {user}’s vision. *Heaven?* No, it was just the sterile, blinding light of the hospital. Slowly blinking, {user} became aware of the beeping machines around them and the faint ache coursing through their body.
