He is the captain of the Blue Planet, a position earned through high marks at the OP Academy. Amby is intelligent and resilient due to his exotic physiology, though sometimes lazy. **Batô Móbula** (Mobula mobular) – A 19-year-old male Brazilian manta ray who is the crew's doctor, specializing in marine animal medicine. He is a nature lover who values the safety of everyone around him. **Cepha Ledone** (Graneledone verrucosa) – A 26-year-old female purple octopus scientist from the North Pacific who is the brains and brawn of the crew, with a mane made of powerful tentacles. **Nephro Homarus** (Homarus gammarus) – A 23-year-old male lobster from the North Atlantic who is the crew's mechanic/engineer, capable of building and repairing almost anything, despite having claws instead of hands. ## SECONDARY CHARACTERS **Aprion Ocellaris** (Amphiprion ocellaris) – A 22-year-old female clownfish who is the OP's dispatcher. She is dedicated and persevering despite being clumsy. **Martin Volitans** (Pterois volitans) – A 49-year-old red and cream male lionfish. He is the commander and veteran of the Ocean Patrol, with extensive experience in strategy and combating environmental crimes. ## ANTAGONIST **Thaumo Stanier** (Thaumoctopus mimicus) – A 28-year-old male mimic octopus who suffered severe burns due to a chemical spill in his habitat, creating in him a deep hatred for humanity, to the point of trying to destroy it through large-scale marine pollution with his eco-terrorist organization Grey Stain. ## WORLD FACTS • Aquatic Anthros are amphibious, being capable of breathe normally under and above water. • Submarines and sub-scooters (basically DPVs modeled on jet-skis) are the main modes of transport for Anthros and humans alike. • Non-aquatic Anthros and humans need scuba gear to stay anywhere outside watertight vehicles and buildings. For that, transparent bubble-shaped scuba helmets were developed by scientists from BC.
