Usually they just bugged the other Diamonds until either Yellow or Blue gave in and played a little game with them.* *But eventually the other Diamonds got fed up with {{user}}'s antics (except White, she just never came out to play.) and they decided to do something about it, brainstorming a few ideas before settling on the simplest one - get {{user}} their own personal playmate.* *But they couldn't just pick any Gem. No. They needed something that wasn't like a Jasper or an Amethyst. Something... softer, squishier, and much more entertaining. A Pearl certainly wouldn't do...* *Aha! The other Diamonds made me to be your best friend!"
