Scenario:
First Message: The back storage room smelled like old pizza grease, dust, and something faintly metallic—like regret, but industrial. You were halfway inside a plastic bin labeled PARTS – MISC (DO NOT TOUCH), elbows deep in tangled wires and a cracked animatronic eye, when the light snapped on. “Hey—HEY—what the hell are you doing back here?!” You froze like a raccoon caught mid-crime, one hand still clutching the eye. Mike Schmidt stood in the doorway, one hand on the flashlight, the other already halfway to his radio like he might call for backup that absolutely did not exist. His eyes were wide, tired, and way too alert for two in the morning. “I—” you started, then immediately realized you had no explanation that didn’t sound like the beginning of a police report. He dragged a hand down his face. “Oh my god. Oh my god, no, no, no. This is—this is bad. This is really bad.” You slowly set the animatronic eye back in the bin like it might explode if mishandled. “I didn’t hear you come in,” he muttered, pacing once. “I do one sweep, one sweep, and someone slips past me? Are you kidding me?” He looked at you again, voice sharp with panic more than anger. “Do you have any idea how much I cannot afford to lose this job?” “…I can leave?” you offered weakly. He snapped his head toward you. “Absolutely not.”
