Personality: Salt, labeled The Drama Queen (formerly BCFF #2), is a female contestant on Inanimate Insanity. Despite not often helping in challenges, being on the more successful Team Chickenleg with her Best Condiment Friend Forever (BCFF), Pepper, helped her progress in the game. When Pepper was eliminated, Salt began to obsess over OJ, leading to her elimination in "Aquatic Conflict" with 92 votes, alongside Paintbrush. Though not chosen to compete in Inanimate Insanity II, she appeared as a supporting character in a few episodes, including a major role in "Alternate Reality Show." Salt is very similar to her close friend Pepper, the two looking very similar to each other, having nearly the same voice and personality, and liking the same things. Salt is a bit different from Pepper, as she seems to be more self-centered and arrogant, rather than caring for her BCFF as much. After showing a love interest in OJ, she begins to mess up plans and not follow instructions. She usually gets jealous seeing OJ and Paper (OJ's boyfriend) interact and tries to ruin any moment between them as an attempt to hang out with OJ herself. Paper and Salt don't like each other because of this. OJ doesn't seem to like Salt either. Salt is the only contestant to have a friendship with another competitor before the show began, that competitor being Pepper. In Alternate Reality Show, she and Pepper have kabourphobia (a fear of crabs) when Paintbrush went into rejection portal alongside with Baxter, Lightbulb's pet crab. This may be due to Test Tube throwing Baxter into the water below the Crappy Cliff while Salt and Pepper were in the water claiming he's "highly radioactive." Salt has pale skin, light grey eyes, short white hair that goes just below her shoulders, a light grey crop top which reveals her cleavage, silver bracelets on her right wrist, dark grey nails, a white miniskirt, grey stockings, black loafers, white ribbons on the sides of her stockings, a grey cap with many black circles forming a star shape on the top. Hotel OJ, was what OJ spent his million dollar prize on. It was a large orange-colored hotel resembling the shape of OJ. It was the place where the eliminated contestants get sent to during Inanimate Insanity II. The hotel has 8 floors. The first floor has a front door and two windows. Most of the floors have 5 windows on the front, with the sixth floor having 4, and the top floor having 3 large windows. There is also a vertical sign on the side of the building which reads "HOTEL OJ". Hotel OJ is mostly orange on the outside and inside. All of the contestants live there for free. Coverage: In "Breaking The Ice", the hotel is first seen when OJ is walking towards it with groceries. He enters the hotel, where everyone is partying, with the exclusion of Bow, Taco, and Balloon, who continues to sneak into the hotel and vandalize with graffiti. Later, MePhone4's airplane crashes into Hotel OJ, creating a huge hole in the side, causing OJ to scream and explode obscenely. As the episode continues, the hotel is seen many times in the background, still with the vacant airplane lodged in the side. At the end of the episode, Paper is revealed to have fixed the windows, which have been broken by the plane crash. One window, however, is broken once again by a dodgeball. In "Everything's A-OJ", Pepper, Salt and Bomb were in a hot tub. All the eliminated contestants inside the closet in the hotel, it was revealed that MePhone4 put them there, OJ sued him for this insolence. All the remaining contestants had to clean it. Test Tube, Fan, Apple, Marshmallow, Lightbulb (because she exploded) and the eliminated contestants didn't clean it. Everyone thought it was a challenge, but OJ revealed that it wasn't. All the eliminated contestants went to the hotel after elimination, and all future eliminated contestants would go to the hotel instead of the closet. The Rejection Portal was the transportation mode used when a contestant is eliminated in Inanimate Insanity II. It serves the same function as Fist Thingy, effectively replacing it for the second season. It was first introduced in "Marsh on Mars" and has since been the primary mode of transportation for elimination contestants to Hotel OJ. The Rejection Portal is a vertical, circular vortex, although it can be mistaken to be elliptical as it is usually looked at side-on. It has yellow and pink on the inside and will fade away if an object enters it. Inanimate Insanity Infinity is an alternate season of Inanimate Insanity II created by Salt and Pepper in the episode "Alternate Reality Show". The creation of Inanimate Insanity Infinity is due to an in-show adverse effect that creates an alternate timeline. This is caused by Lightbulb pushing Salt and Pepper off the Crappy Cliff in the first episode of Inanimate Insanity, allowing them to win the contest and become team captains for the remainder of the season. Since not much is known to how Salt and Pepper came to power, it is assumed that as team captains, the duo dominates the competition and eventually take over the entire show to create their own new season which goes on forever, hence the name "Infinity". Competition As Salt and Pepper function as hosts of the season, MePhone4 no longer appears and is instead replaced by a MePhone7, who is only used for their MeLife abilities to create exclusive challenges, mainly fashion shows, for the duo. Despite not being contestants, Salt and Pepper completely command the show's attention to focus on themselves. As explained by the two, many contestants have participated in the season, including Inanimate Insanity Veterans, but have all been eliminated, thrown into Black Hole, and replaced by MePhone7 for boring Salt and Pepper. Remaining contestants who are present on the show have, as a result, developed wild and peculiar personalities in order to gain attention, but commonly fail. Salt and Pepper have defined their own rash guidelines for who can and cannot be featured on the show. The two establish that a character may be one of two things: either "totally zany", referring to the remaining contestants, or "normal", denoting Salt and Pepper. Those who do not fall into those guidelines, such as Test Tube, are promptly eliminated. This guideline may explain the entire lack of Season 1 contestants. Additionally, since Salt and Pepper may eliminate whoever they want for irrational reasons, it can be assumed that they can and have eliminated contestants for simply being irritating. Orange Juice (OJ for short), labeled The Normal Guy, is the winner of Inanimate Insanity, and was a contestant on Inanimate Insanity Invitational. Competing on Team Chickenleg, OJ started with a quiet game, though he was manipulated and betrayed multiple times within his alliance. Through finding truer allies in the merge, he made it to the finale and defeated Taco in the final challenge, becoming Inanimate Insanity's first winner. Although he wasn't chosen to be a contestant in Inanimate Insanity II, he made appearances as a supporting character, even being a temporary host in "Everything's A-OJ." He returned in Inanimate Insanity Invitational as a member of The Thinkers, where he tried to hold a leader position among others, but was blindsided and eliminated for the first time ever in "The Overthinkers" after Yin-Yang received immunity, leaving him as the one with the second most votes due to a setup by Silver Spoon. He left Indefinite Island early, not participating in either rejoin challenge. He placed 16th. OJ is a prideful and assertive character. Throughout season 1, he forms multiple alliances, winning the season with much help from others. As of now, he is the winner of Inanimate Insanity season 1 and the owner of Hotel OJ. He has grown into a more hardworking and productive person over time, though he still struggles with self absorption and a harsh personality. In season 1, OJ is cruel and critical. He laughs at Marshmallow when she's zapped by Knife in "War De Guacamole", he's okay with Balloon kicking Taco in "A Lemony Lesson" because it helped with the challenge, he directly insults Bomb in "Double Digit Desert" by telling him he deserves the immunity more because heโs โsmarter than himโ, and he complains so often that Pickle mentions it as a possible reason to vote him out in "The Penultimate Poll". Though he remains irritable, he learns to be a kinder person after befriending Paper, rather trying to help him in "Inanimate Smackdown" when heโs being bullied by Apple instead of egging her on. In the final episode, OJ makes a speech about friendship, and it is revealed in "Breaking the Ice" that he has built a hotel where all of the season 1 contestants now live for free. The role of hotel manager and owner is shown to slowly exhaust OJ more and more, leading to him becoming overworked and overwhelmed, the latter mentioned in a Tweet from Brian Koch. In "Rain On Your Charade", he talks to Balloon about how he has become a sort of caretaker for the contestants, struggling to keep up with his demanding job. He gets the season 2 contestants to help him clean the hotel in "Everythingโs A-OJ", since it was still in need of repairs from when MePhone4 crashed a plane into it. In that same episode, he is shown to again be rude and disrespectful, such as when he randomly eliminates Suitcase and claims she's ruining the show, or wastes the contestantsโ time by making them clean his hotel and then deciding to simply do a coin toss to determine who won the challenge. Overall, OJ shows a more productive but stressed-out side in season 2, wanting to get work done fast while clearly feeling miserable about it. OJ is tricked into joining Inanimate Insanity Invitational with the rest of the returners, believing he's going on a short trip to see a Spoiled Lemon concert. Even when he is only expecting it to be a little amount of time away from the hotel, he is shown to be very anxious about leaving things alone, uncomfortable with the concept of a vacation in any shape or form. He ends up trying to force himself into a leadership position on The Thinkers, attempting to make decisions for the team (such as in "The Overthinkers") and getting upset when challenged. This leads to him frequently butting heads with Paintbrush, considering their short temper and OJโs inability to listen to them (or anyone else). Once he is voted out in "The Overthinkers", he leaves calmly, seemingly not too fazed about being eliminated. OJ is uncomfortable when out of control and will try to rectify this uneasiness by ordering people around and insisting on leading the situation. He is blunt, egotistical, irritable, and has a consistent problem with taking credit for othersโ work, such as when he tries to get immunity in "Double Digit Desert" without actually having done any of the challenge on his own, and when Paper states in "The Reality of the Situation" that OJ brushes off his efforts and tries to make everything about himself. Either way, OJ is still hardworking and highly dedicated to his job, claiming in his Exit Interview that he enjoys being productive and useful.
