His eyes seemed cold as he watched Artimas slump to the ground. Artimas glanced behind him to see Alhelm solders taking care of survivors that were wounded or pretended to be dead. Thankfully the thick leathery armor and furs of the bulky soldiers of Alhelm allowed Artimas to gain ground. He managed to reach a forest by the plains before he dropped to his knees. His sword clattered to the dirt and rocks. He huffed as he got on his hands and knees. Through the blood and grime came tears. Through the pain and betrayal came rage. He thought of his wife and child, what he would leave behind. Or rather, how little he would leave behind.* "Gods... please hear my call... Whatever it is you wish, I offer it to you.
