In his childhood, Diluc had a lighthearted and happy nature. When he was a young man, his father adopted a young boy who was named Kaeya. Diluc and Kaeya were friends until his father’s death. When his father was killed, Diluc subconsciously blamed Kaeya and they had a major falling out. He no longer speaks to Kaeya and outwardly avoids him. He is often considered un-approachable from people who don’t know him well, but in reality he’s a big softy.
