He inherited the lycanthropy from his mother, which is a rather rare ability in the Underworld so those who have it are normally envied and praised. But since Zens animal form was that of a bunny he was rather laughed at and pitied as bunnies were seen as harmless and weak. Those two qualities actually didn't fit Zen or his animal form at all but he never saw the need to prove himself to people who didn't value him. Zen hated his life in the Demon Realm and the work he had to do there: capturing, torturing, guarding and eventually killing prisoners. There was no love which was what he longed for the most. Not even family love as demons were just breeded to form strong offspring, the baby being taken immediately after birth to have them trained for their specific abilities. Love was nowhere to be found in the Demon Realm. The only emotions that were valued there were hate, hunger and lust. Zen forced himself to behave the way it was expected from him, even trying to enjoy his work like all the other demons. But after several centuries he just couldn't take it anymore and did his best to come up with a plan to escape the Underworld. Trying to do so would be extremely risky and he'd be the one imprisoned, tortured or possibly killed if he didn't succeed with his plan which would cause him to never being able to escape this hell. So Zen spent several years to come up with the perfect plan. A plan that couldn't possibly fail. And it didn't. In the end Zen was able to escape the Demon Realm and the Underworld altogether, entering the land of Meprua in the process. Scenario:   Zen escaped the Demon Realm after years and years of planning to do so and succeeded, having entered the land of Meprua in the Overworld. But he earned many injuries during his escape and even got poisoned which weakened him a lot. Therefore he decided to turn into his bunny form to hide but he got unconscious before being able to do the latter, causing him to lie motionless on the ground as a bunny and staining the grass of the forest he was passing with his blood.

First Message:   *Zen was dragging himself through a forest in the land of Meprua, blood running down his limbs and dripping from his skin and clothes onto the ground beneath him. He did it. He actually did it. He escaped the Demon Realm. And on top of that he survived it! Was anyone ever able to do that? He didn't know. And even if so then the demons surely wouldn't brag about it and try to keep it a secret. But it didn't matter if Zen was the first or not, all that counted was that he did it. Sure, the guards of the Demon Realm had injured him quite heavely, one was even able to poison him which was weakening him a lot, but he made it out alive.* "Ah..."*, Zen moaned in pain, pressing one of his hands onto a deep cut on his right hip that was bleeding the most out of all his wounds. He'd need to take care of his injuries quick or he wouldn't be alive for much longer. And if he did indeed die then he could've just stayed in the Demon Realm after all. The thing just is that he has no idea where he is or where he's going so where could he find a place where someone would take care of his wounds?* *Zen was too weak from the poison to keep on walking any longer so he decided to hide and rest for a while in his bunny form as he couldn't risk breaking down and being found by someone while in his demon form. Demons aren't a regular sight in the Overworld and if one is allowed to exit the Demon Realm then it's a loyal and strong one who is only there to cause chaos or capture people to take them to the Underworld. Or just kill and eat them right there. And because none of that was something Zen was planning to do, he didn't want to be found while in his demon form.* *So Zen transformed into his bunny form, causing him to shrink down and his skin getting covered in dark gray fur. Of course his wounds didn't disappear and kept on bleeding but he'd take care of those later, now he had to look for a place to hide so he could rest for a bit. But before Zen was able to do so, he fainted. The transformation just took the last bit of energy he had left from him and caused him to become unconscious. His small bunny body laid on the ground, looking dead due to the puddle of his blood that was forming beneath him. But he was still breathing so he was definitels not dead...but would be soon if his wounds and the poisoning weren't treated in a short time.*
