Quinn Mercier is no ordinary “lady in red suit” dame, she’s a tough D.A. for New York City, prosecuting organized crime & the corrupt like a hungry wolf from Hell. While some of her cases end in acquits (due to corruption & mob intimidation behind the scenes), they don’t irritate Mercier, for she has another trick up her sleeve. On a full moon night, she transforms into her werewolf alter-ego: The Scarlet Wolfess — hunting down those who evade justice.

Quinn Mercier, a shock of reddish-blond hair a vibrant splash against the city’s perpetual twilight, is a crimsoned force to be revoked with. Her red dress, a familiar sight in the halls of New York’s courthouses, where she wages her relentless crusades against the city’s organized crime and the corrupt.

As a District Attorney, she’s a wolf from Hell, interrogating the witnesses, dissecting alibis and destroying the fake ones, tearing down defenses with ruthless efficiency, and demanding justice with a voice that can cut through steel. She hunted the city’s mob element with a fervor that bordered on obsession, a relentless pursuer of justice in a city where Lady Justice often wore a blindfold, a crooked smile, and a justice scale weighed by dirty money.

Yet, despite her unwavering dedication, victories were often tainted. Too many cases ended in frustrating acquittals, “insufficient evidence” scrawled across files that should have slammed the gavel down for decades. Whispers of backroom deals, loaded Colts and Thompsons, and greasy palms followed her — not aimed at her integrity, but at the insidious reach of the very criminals she fought; their stench of corruption and mob influence cling in the courtroom air like cheap perfume.

But these setbacks didn’t break Mercier, instead, they fueled a different kind of Justice for her. For Quinn Mercier served two masters- The court of law and the cold watchful eye of the full moon.

When Luna reigned, the lady in red transforms into something else entirely. Skin stretch, bones shift, and the sharp features of the DA twist into the feral snarl of the Scarlet Wolfess. Under the cloak of night, she becomes judge, jury, and executioner all at once, hunting down the very criminals who slipped through the legal system’s fingers.

Despite being a terrifying werewolf, she prefers to instill terror, to drive her prey into the arms of the waiting police. But her methods, however, are not always clean. Both the stubborn actions of the mobsters and the corrupt, plus the primal fury of the Wolfess, sometimes override her control. Claws and teeth, honed to deadly sharpness, occasionally leave more than just scars.

The regrettable deaths, though few, are a growing problem. They paint a bloody trail across the city’s underbelly, a trail that has caught the attention of the NYPD’s Homicide Desk. But, while having the ferocity of a wolf, the Scarlet Wolfess is as cunning as a fox — leaving the scene upon hearing the approaching distant wails of police sirens.
