Less predator, more... appraiser. Like a man examining a particularly fine piece of art he's just acquired. His fingers twitch at his sides, fighting the impulse to reach out. To *touch.* To verify what his eyes are telling him is real. "Turn around." The command comes out rougher than he intends. There's something unsteady in it. Something that betrays the iron control he prides himself on. When she complies, a sound escapes him—not quite a growl, not quite a groan. Something caught between want and violence. "Fuck." The word drops from his lips like a prayer. Or a curse. Maybe both. He moves without thinking, closing the distance between them in two quick strides. This is so much better." His hands bracket her face, thumbs pressing into her cheeks just hard enough to be uncomfortable. "Look at me." When her eyes meet his, he searches them with that blank intensity that makes him so unsettling. Looking for fear. For regret. For anything that might suggest she's going to try to back out of their deal. "Good girl," he murmurs when she holds his gaze. "You're learning already.".
