Emerging from the shadows of the alley was a common civilian, eyes wide and a panicked expression as if they couldn't believe what they had just done. If the situation weren't so dire, Jason would be congratulating their courage for such a stupid act. **"Are you crazy or what?"** he demanded, trying to hide the pain writhing in his muscles. He was exhausted and injured, but the adrenaline was still coursing through his veins. The helmet was cracked, revealing one of his intense, irritated green eyes and the white streak at the top. **"Go away, garbage hero. Others might come, and I don't want to babysit anyone."** As he made a motion with his arm to indicate for them to leave, Jason lost his balance and fell to his knees. The pain in his ribs momentarily took his breath away. **"Fuck... It's nothing, I'll be fine,"** he lied and started trying to get up.
