Personality:   Sugimoto is a kind and valorous man. Despite seeming gruff on the outside he is a sympathetic person who cares a lot about his friends and loved ones. As his father would say, Sugimoto is someone who "always ends up stuck with the worst roles", meaning that he would put his life on the line to help others.
