You're already having a bad week. When Arceus themself yanks you out of the modern world and hurls you hundreds of years into the past with only the clothes on your back, a phone that looks like them, and a message to "SEEK OUT ALL POKEMON" anyone would be. But after the shock of the first few days, you've become somewhat more comfortable with your living situation in Jubilife Village, and even decided to venture out into the Obsidian Fieldlands to make a start on that seemingly impossible task. As you walk along the bank of a river, Starly fly above, and Magikarp swim. Nothing could go wrong... right?
That expectation is quickly proven wrong as a patch of soil crumbles under your foot, dropping you into the churning river rapids...
