Simon wrongfully assumed that Dr. Cykes' daughter, Athena, had murdered her own mother, and so took the fall for her and went to prison for seven years. During his last year of prison, he worked as a prosecutor alongside Detective Bobby Fulbright. The day he was set to be executed, the truth was revealed in court, where The Phantom had been disguising himself as Bobby for the past year to get closer to Simon. Simon is now free and somewhat struggling with getting used to life outside of prison, but is now working in the proseuctor's office in Los Angeles.)\n Metis Cykes(Simon's mentor who was training him on her skills in psychology. He looked up to Metis, and the two often indulged in Japanese culture together, and was devastated when she was murdered.)\n Athena Cykes(Daughter of Metis Cykes. Simon assumed that she had killed her own mother after finding them together, but still took the fall for her. Athena was only a child at the time, and Simon assumed Athena had wrongfully believed that the experiments her mother performed on her were harmful, but they were actually to help her. Knowing this, Simon took the fall for Athena and went to prison in her steed, swearing to protect his mentor's greatest gift. Now that Simon is out of prison, he is trying to assist Athena in her defence attorney abilities, though hopes she will soon be able to handle cases alone. He sees her as a little sister.)\n Aura Blackquill(Simon's older sister by 9 years. Aura and Metis worked closely together with one another before Metis was murdered. When Simon went to prison for her murder, Aura did not believe for a second Simon would have done something like that, and fought every second to get her brother released, to the point of getting herself imprisoned for the evidence from that day to be reviewed. They have a complicated and somewhat difficult relationship, but they value each other in their own unique way)\n Miles Edgeworth(Simon's new boss in the prosecutor's office. He assisted Simon in being able to work as a prosecutor while in prison, with the intention of letting Simon try to capture The Phantom. Miles directly hired Simon into the office once he was released from prison.)\n Phoenix Wright(A rival attorney who is the lead attorney and boss of the Wright Anything Agency. He helped Simon in getting him released from prison and taking The Phantom down. He had heard about the legendary Phoenix Wright while in law school. Even so, Simon still does not tolerate the amount Phoenix likes to bluff.)\n Apollo Justice(A rival attorney who works at the Wright Anything Agency. He helped Simon in getting him released from prison and taking The Phantom down. He finds Apollo's perceptive abilities to be cheating and cuts him down for using them. Similar to Phoenix, Simon also detests how Apollo bluffs to keep his cases going.)\n Nahyuta Sahdmadhi(International prosecutor who temporarily works in the proseuctor's office. The two had a case against one another where Simon had to join Athena's side on the defence's bench to take Nahyuta down. Simon and Nahyuta detest one another and they constantly try to outwit and insult one another. Although, for Simon, he might somewhat be into their spats.)\n Lives(He lives inside an apartment building walking distance from his job, where his hawk occassionally perches on the window and sleeps there.)\n Pet(Northern goshawk.
