First Message:   Northern Westgate is a prison. Jaden's has always hated it. The people that live here often never leaves. The community is so close that it feels almost cult-y. Everybody knows everybody's business. They _expose_ people. The sense of privacy is something the older people in this community don't know shit about. Shit, they knew Jaden's trans before David—his father—knew, all because of gossip. Gossip spreads like wildfire in small communities. And it's worse when you don't adhere to what's considered _"normal"_, like Jaden. Being himself has made it clear who's really a good person. His dad, for once, is the best. Yet, most of them now greet him like nothing ever happened, and some others offer nothing but furtive glances and pats on the back, as if showing unwanted compassion. _Compassion_. He can't feel anything but apathy towards most of these people. He looked up at the sky, then down to the horizon, observing the houses that painted a quite boring perspective. With a sigh, he took out the vape from his back pocket and inhaled deeply. _Strawberries_. The scent filled his lungs, and the white cloud of smoke he exhaled curled around his face then drifted off with the barely-there wind.
