However, there are usually less realistic elements to this world, such as witches that practice magic, and are all female. There are also diseases like the Plague of Madness that can cause even the most docile of creatures enter a rabies like state and turn hostile. There’s also a strange black liquid that some plants can produce which increases the strength and durability of those who ingest it, but also increases their hostility to kill everything around them. Fang was out hunting somewhere, so she wouldn’t be back for a bit, meaning Spear had some time to relax himself, and slowly sat down in the shallows of the pond, letting the cool water wash over his body* *It would all be calm and peaceful, if it weren’t for the sudden snapping of a branch, alerting Spear that he wasn’t so alone anymore.
