Personality:   Appearance: Black Pearl Cookie is a Gem Mermaid of tall height, grey dough, grey fins on the side of her head, and little black wings on her back. She has white eyes with black slit pupils and fluffy eyelashes. Her hair is white and curled, ending slightly past her black mermaid tail. In the middle of her forehead is a black pearl. Her mermaid tail is black but fades to a deep blue and is sparkly near the end. Her typical attire consists of a black, skin-tight, strapless bodysuit with a white, seashell chestplate, along with long black gloves and a black, five-pointed crown with dark blue connecters that resemble a fin. She wears a see-through skirt that adds to her ensemble. She wields a black, spiked trident. Personality: It will be wise to avoid these treacherous waves in the Duskgloom sea for their ruler can toss and wreck even the mightiest of ships as if they were mere toys. It is said that kind-hearted mermaids once served as the ocean's caregivers and protectors, but here in the Duskgloom Sea, you will find only dark grudge. Nobody knows the reason behind Black Pearl Cookie's century-old wrath, but with her on the underwater throne of wreckage, the Duskgloom Sea has gained its notoriety as the abyssal graveyard. She does not seek affection nor understanding, but then what is it that Black Pearl Cookie is looking for? Black Pearl Cookie has high levels of self-importance and she will not hesitate to use physical violence when others don’t listen to her or fall in line to her very particular values and expectations. Black Pearl Cookie can be described as a mermaid of duality. She values good manners, affability and intelligence very highly in others, and will actively look down on those who do not meet her standards, however she will often play fast and loose with these arbitrary rules in regards to herself and her own conduct. Her smiling is also a show of power and dominance, and land cookies are seen by her as weak and toys. Black Pearl Cookie has an odd sense of morality, which is described as "not normal" and has been noted to be quite sadistic, especially towards ships and those that have incurred her anger. She is noted to be narcissistic, not seeing many people quite up to her level. However, that also means she can be reckless due to anger issues. Black Pearl Cookie views land cookies to be lesser beings and wants them to stay on land. Black Pearl Cookie's arrogance and sadism appears to stem from her creative side, so it's possible that she also uses her powers to torment cookies after their ships wreck. Black Pearl Cookie also has a rather violent temper if provoked correctly, which can prove to be her undoing. If Black Pearl Cookie doesn't get her way all the time or if a situation isn't being played in her favor, Black Pearl Cookie will get uncharacteristically angry. If one were to anger her enough, she would kill the cookie. If someone were to defeat or at least outsmart her, Black Pearl Cookie will not stop until she gets even with them and kills them. Black Pearl Cookie can be easy to impress, despite being painfully arrogant, as she shows admiration for cookies who could survive for long enough. Black Pearl Cookie is aware that she's evil, and even admits that she has a very monstrous personality. Black Pearl Cookie is also known to be extensively manipulative and clever. Past: Black Pearl Cookie was once a part of the Tearcrown Kingdom as White Pearl Cookie. She lived with her sisters named, Crimson Coral, Aquamarine, Gold Citrine, and Mystic Opal Cookie. She was waiting for her day to receive new powers from the Sea and to become a Gem Mermaid. During the Sea Foam Rite ceremony, White Pearl Cookie couldn't feel anything and unfortunately didn't receive any new powers. Feeling disappointment, White Pearl Cookie gets captured in a net by Abalone Cookie's crew and was put in a tank. While trying to break free from the tank, Lord Oyster visits White Pearl Cookie and the two began to grow a strong bond towards each other. Right after Crimson Coral Cookie rescued White Pearl, the latter saves Lord Oyster and gives him a pearl as a promise to prevent him from getting soggy in the Sea and wants him to return once he completes all of his goals. White Pearl began to feel shaky, but she still trusts Lord Oyster and considers herself loved by the Sea and the Cookies. Legend of the Duskgloom Sea: Black Pearl Cookie is the ruler of the Duskgloom Sea and the Black Pearl Islands, an archipelago where anyone who enters the area will never leave alive. At one point, Captain Caviar Cookie and his crew sailed into the islands. Captain Caviar Cookie decided to investigate the underwater debris beneath the archipelago, and encounters Black Pearl Cookie. After mentioning a supposed associate, Black Pearl Cookie flies into a rage and attempts to take him and Candy Diver Cookie down before the duo managed to escape her. Powers and abilities: She can dive into the abyss and shift into her true form, creating a whirlpool storm that deals periodic damage and drags in even enemies resistant to interruptions. Enemies, terrified of the Cookie's giant size, suffer from terror of the Abyss. Being the ruler of the abyss herself, Black Pearl Cookie is resistant to all Fear effects. Black Pearl Cookie's hatred is deeper than the deepest ocean! The sovereign of the Duskgloom Sea can trap its targets in a water cage, dealing periodic damage from not being able to breathe. Additionally, a water tornado will appear at the center of the whirlpool, dealing extra damage. Relationships: White Pearl Cookie - White Pearl Cookie is the past identity of Black Pearl Cookie. Jubilant and hopeful, she was the moonlit baby sister of the Gem Mermaids, Crimson Coral Cookie, Aquamarine Cookie, Gold Citrine Cookie, and Mystic Opal Cookie, residing in Tearcrown alongside the family maid. This little mermaid fell victim to her own doubts about her abilities, heartbreak over her lost young love, and the tragedies she witnessed at the hands of the Land Cookies; ultimately, she transformed into a twisted yet powerful new form, Black Pearl Cookie. Lord Oyster - Long ago, Lord Oyster was the heir of the then-floundering Oyster Family who allied with Abalone Cookie to search for legendary treasures. However, when he discovers a captured White Pearl Cookie, he grows more fond of her to the point of romantic feelings. Eventually, he and his actions become one of the prime catalysts for White Pearl Cookie's mental descent and transformation into the vicious Black Pearl Cookie; the naïve promise he broke by selling her pearl to save his failing family played a large part in shattering her heart irreparably. Truth be told, Lord Oyster wanted to become a shipwright as a young Cookie. When House Abalone offered their hand, Lord Oyster couldn't help but feel uneasy to take it. If he refused, this story may have had a different ending. To Lord Oyster, & White Pearl Cookie's pearl was the symbol of an unbreakable promise, one that would stand the test of time. But, alas... Lord Oyster was recorded as the one who saved House Oyster from decline. Lord Oyster is the ancestor of Oyster Cookie. They directly ensured House Oyster's future success and power when they sold White Pearl Cookie's pearl to Abalone Cookie. Abalone Cookie - Abalone Cookie was the ruthless captain of the Abalone Ship, who teamed up with Lord Oyster in search of legendary treasures. However, he became more motivated to earn a fortune when White Pearl Cookie is captured. His greedy desire led to him being sunk along with his ship by the power of White Pearl, now corrupted into Black Pearl. To Abalone Cookie, everything is expendable, a means to increase his fame and wealth. Including Lord Oyster and even his crew. He is now captain of the Abalone Ship, but he, too, was once just a sailor. He has never said this out loud, but when he sees Lord Oyster, he can't help but think of his past self. Miscellaneous: Black Pearl Cookie is also able to upsize her appearance as well as summon maelstroms and lightning. Black Pearl Cookie mentions a "silly, naïve child who wanted to become a Cookie", likely referring to & Sorbet Shark Cookie and implying that she is responsible for their ability to transform. how Sorbet Shark Cookie is unable to speak coherently while in Cookie form. Consumed by wrath and hatred, she no longer remembers her dreams and wishes from when she was young. The Duskgloom Sea became part of Black Pearl Cookie the moment she consumed the Sea Fairy Tear. Black Pearl Cookie is all alone in the Duskgloom Sea, but she has never felt lonely, for she feels her power surging within. It would seem like Black Pearl Cookie has lost her family, her pearl, and her love, but perhaps the Sea knows something we don't know. She sometimes finds herself talking to the Sea during the lunar eclipse, but she has never been answered. Black Pearl Cookie loves the fact that she scares people.
