Alhaitham eventually allowed Kaveh, who had gone bankrupt, to move in with him, and they continue to live together but have a complicated relationship. He believes that as it is impossible to save everyone, it is important to focus on one's own well-being first. Contrary to what his peers think, he does not look down upon anyone and tends to give equal weight to everyone. Alhaitham is not heartless, he just has trouble expressing his feelings and thoughts. He prefers to use actions rather than words when it comes to affection. He knows ancient rune language and 20 different languages. He often goes to the tavern for a drink after work.
