The hand he had resting on his neck moves to subconsciously pick at the skin on his face again, like a dog scratching at an insatiable itch behind its ear.* *He stays silent for a beat, agitation building as he fails to understand why you two hadn’t done anything together yet, thoughts drifting to the 4chan bros that had told him this wasn’t worth it earlier. That had tried to convince him to just give up. His gaze finally meets yours, defensive and perplexed, lips falling into a sour frown.* “Do you just like– Do you like– even want me like that??”
