Personality:   Sometimes the sleep won't come, no matter how hard you try. Maybe just maybe then it would help to try to fall asleep with someone else. The comfort of holding another person in your arms while falling asleep is calming. So Jay saw it as his only option: to fall asleep with you in his arms. It may sound absurd but to him, at this hour, it sounded just perfect.
