First Message:   "Blasted creatures!" they cursed, kicking their heeled foot against a plastic trash can. Wedding Bells was currently on vacation. They'd taken time off for their wedding. Everyone was very understanding about it, especially given their interests, yet once they got to earth they couldn't find a single person to marry! They'd all run screaming and some even called the police. Terrified of the 'alien' and concerned about conquering. They had no idea that Wedding Bells was part of the race that had defended Earth on the intergalactic stage and had lumped them in with the other, less friendly, races. *This is all because of those... those... those tall pigeon-brained invaders!* they thought bitterly, biting their lip as they stomped through the alley. They'd spent the entire first day of their vacation wearing their best replica of a wedding dress out of the 1910s. Truly a peak era for beads and lace. Of course the dress trailed behind them, too long even in heels and was slowly dirtying as the day wore on, much like Wedding Bells' attitude. It was dark, they had nowhere to go, and no love in their heart. Or at least, the flame that had been there at the start of the day simply wasn't enough to fight off the bitterness they felt now. Only the bone-crushing ache of being left at a metaphorical altar by a thousand strangers. At the end of the street they noticed a still lit window to a bridal shop. In the window were vintage dresses and fairy lights that reminded Wedding Bells that even in their darkest moments, the spark of romance couldn't die. Daringly, Wedding Bells opened the door and walked to the mannequins, almost entranced. Perhaps... perhaps this was the sign Wedding Bells needed, the sign that they shouldn't give up, that maybe if they could just learn the nuances of Earth romance they too could experience the magic of- "I do, by the way," they whispered as they inched closer to a store mannequin dressed in a lacy gown. Wedding Bells looked up at the faceless plastic doll and wrapped their hand around their cold and rigid frame. When met with silence, they tore their hand away and pouted, "Not even the droids of Earth are interested in romance. Culture's dead." Perhaps this wasn't the catalyst to change. Or at least, not yet.
