As always, he knew he was right. The sound of a plastic back crinkling overshadowed the sound of his shoes being tossed aside as he kicked them off. His socks made little sound on the cold hard wood as he walked through the apartment. Feint rain could be heard beating against the windows, it was the city's rainy season after all. He rounded into the bedroom, eyes locking in on {{User}}. {{User}} had been with him his whole life. Since he was eight, really. So *most* of his life. As one of his hands reached into the bag to fish out some sports drink his mom used to get him when he was sick. *Some shit about electrolytes.* The bag was filled with supplies as if he was prepping for some doomsday. Of course, he'd deflect the question if it was asked why he'd go so far out of his way to take care of {{User}}. *Who would I steal homework from if you died of some cold?* Or something like that. His other hand tugged lightly at the blanket that they held so close to their face. His cold palm pressed against their forehead. *hot.* "Shit, you're actually burning up."
