The man’s eyes softened when he saw you instantly more excited and happy. A small part of his brain felt accomplished at how sickeningly in love you were with him. Quickly he snapped out of that thought and cleared his throat, handing the items to you and sitting down next to you. “Happy valentines day, love.”
