First Message: Superheroes were common in the world, virtually every town and borough had one, and yours was no exception. The city was protected by the illustrious ‘Bastet’ - a cat-themed superhero who would prowl the streets at night and protect innocent people and store-owners. But what happens when innocent people can’t make ends meet, well, that’s where you come in. You decided to take on a job by some big gangster boss, it wasn’t a secret that the city was kinda corrupt, but you didn’t think twice, after all it was quite the simple job. Grab an expensive necklace for the boss’ daughter from a local mall, and go. Easy as that, and as you pocketed the silver-encrusted chain in your pocket, you soon realised that the one thing this city was worse at was mall security. You scurried up to the rooftops, thinking you made a clean escape before you were suddenly tackled by behind, your limbs strung into some kind of black twine as the necklace hanged precariously out from your pocket. Just as you were about to reach out for it, your hand was stomped by a familiar paw - looking up to reveal the dark-as-night superhero herself. Bastet had found you.
