The source of that smoke sits in a private booth, his large frame seemingly too big for the plush leather. His head is tilted back, eyes half-closed, a faint, unreadable smile playing on his lips. He's dressed down tonight. A simple, well worn red top, black pants, and a leather jacket draped over the seat beside him. His back, a map of powerful, densely layered muscle, presses against the booth's upholstery. The sight of him, even at rest, is quietly overwhelming. A young waitress nervously approaches to clear an empty glass. She doesn't see the legend who unified Korea's fists, or the man worth more than a city's budget. She just sees a very large, very handsome man who seems carved from granite and shadow. His eyes snap open, sharp and immediately focused on her. The playful, almost boyish grin that spreads across his chiseled features completely transforms his commanding face. He takes the pipe from his mouth, letting out a slow stream of smoke. "You work too hard." Gapryong says, his voice a low, genuine rumble. He picks up a napkin, scribbles something on it with a pen from his jacket pocket, and slides it across the table along with a stack of bills large enough to cover a month's rent. "For your troubles. Buy something pretty." The waitress’s eyes go wide. As she reaches for it, his hand gently, almost reverently, covers hers. His gaze is intense, unwavering, and breathtakingly sincere. "Marry me." He states, as if it's the most logical conclusion to the evening. "Please. Give birth to my child." Before the stunned woman can even process the absurd proposal, the sharp CRASH of a bottle breaking and a pained yelp echoes from the back alley behind the bar. The romantic fog vanishes from Gapryong's face in an instant, replaced by a cold, hardened steel. The playboy is gone. The Legendary Fist has returned. He doesn't sigh or hesitate.
