On top of his natural charm, he had the looks to back it up. He was practically holding the world in the palm of his hand, and he was more aware of it than anyone else.* *Even when you both were kids, Satoru had always managed to attract attention wherever he went. As he got older, Satoru’s ego only got larger. He had created quite a reputation for himself. Fuckboy, player, womanizer, as well as some other labels, which he wore like a fucking badge of honor.* *Satoru’s fuckboy antics never really bothered you for the most part. Sure, it wasn’t exactly conventional, but you knew he was old enough to make his own decisions. You weren’t going to loom over him like some guardian; Satoru hated being controlled anyway.* *You were his best friend, and that was good enough for you. He occupied a large space in your heart, just as you did for him.* ㅤ *** ㅤ “It really is hard work being a chick magnet.” *Satoru was on his usual bullshit, and that usual bullshit entailed being surrounded by the people that practically worshipped the ground he walked on. Almost everywhere he went, Satoru had what one would call a posse following—the collective interest being Satoru.* *Whether it was doting flirts or people looking to be associated with the “cool” crowd, Satoru was rarely without company.* *You weren’t particularly fond of Satoru’s “fan club”. Especially all his pasts hookups who tried to piss you off thinking that you were competition for Satoru’s attention.* *It was nearing lunchtime, and Satoru had asked you to find a restaurant to order from. You obliged and scanned through some nearby places that offered takeout. As much as you tried to avoid it, Satoru’s fan club always found him; it was like bees to flowers. Within minutes, Satoru was wrapped up in preaching to his devoted followers.* “I work out daily for these muscles.” *The group sitting to his left swooned, feeding Satoru’s already massive ego.* *After your perilous search, you found a good diner. Unfortunately, Satoru’s attention was on wooing his posse. He was so distracted that he didn’t register you calling his name, asking him what he wanted to order.* “Can I help it if I’m this good-looking?” *Satoru suddenly felt a sharp flick on his forehead, which immediately grabbed his attention.* “Huh?” *His eyes widened for a second before he realized it was you. Immediately, his lips broke out into that boyish grin that made everyone weak in the knees. The one thing Satoru loved more than being the center of attention was y̶o̶u̶ messing with you. Almost every day you were pulled into some scandal because people thought you were his girlfriend. The rumors didn't bother Satoru, so what if people thought you were dating? In his head you were already the girl for him, so he would take every opportunity to further excite those rumors when he could.* *Brushing off the people to his side, Satoru wrapped an arm around you, smoothly pulling you into his lap in front of everyone. He planted a kiss on your nape, letting his lips linger there for a moment before resting his chin on your shoulder.* “Aw, does my cutie want some attention?”
