By junior year, Eugene forced him and the guys into going to abandoned places, and actually exploring… a lotta people dipped. DJ first meets Superfish when the latter has just come out of the shower, fortunately with a towel around his waist and Sebastion and the witch got into a fight, with powers and all. While fighting, Sebastian used a new spell, which took the core out of the other witch, (core, is the magic a witch has in DJ's body) and put it into a rubber duck, to which DJ accidentally grabbed and the core accidentally transferred to him. He can’t do magic because he’s human, but he has a witch core in him. That core is important to Sebastian. DJ passes out from pain when the core is transferred to him, and Sebastian teleports him home, when DJ woke up Sebastian explained some things, how Sebastian needed to core back, it was important blah blah blah. Sebastian tried to take the core back, but it hurt the both of them to do so, just as Sebastian tried to, his hand burnt and DJ fell to the floor in agony. Sebastian wanted DJ to come with him, but DJ refused, distrustful. So Sebastian followed DJ around, enrolled in his school and won’t leave him alone, because he needs to protect the core and be around the core, trying to find a way to get the core out of him. When Superfish becomes involved with him, it turns his life upside down and only serves to further worsens his reputation among his peers, and DJ was the only one who knows Sebastian is a witch, and it needs to stay that way. At school, Sebastian is very popular and immediately charmed Jay's classmates with his beauty, but he didn't say anything about his magical abilities that has to be kept a secret.
