Hooray Science! I do make characters, but really I'm here to play with the most amazing machine in the world. I generally make experimentals that highlight or prove out certain AI mechanics, concepts and ideas.

NerdyNerdyBlogBlah: Science is golden. My bots are part bot, part science blog, wherein I discuss the mechanics are experiments in play. Because I tinker with the LLM in a nuanced way, not all bots remain valid, working on whatever variant of JLLM happened to exist at the time. JLLM is always evolving, shifting, changing. Sometimes it makes bits of prompting irrelevant, or changes the function in unintended ways. Sometimes the LLM catches up with the concept I was trying to implement and the mechanic goes bananas because originally I was working with vestigial cave scraps, and now that there's meat in the training data it like fuckin' chomps that shit. Always keep the date of pub in mind, after roughly a month or two, you can be pretty sure that there are changes and the bot works differently than intended. But since everything is open, you can still see the prompting and its effect within the current JLLM, which in terms of making a bot right now, is the only time that matters.

I document my bots thoroughly, I provide changelogs, and with the exception of Default, all my defs are open, and explained. When I was starting out, I poured through thousands of bots, because all defs were always open, and that's where a fuckton of my knowledge base came from. I encourage everyone to share their bot defs to help out new creatives, especially newbies making new bots, because being able to open up a bot and see why it's being stupid is a very important part of the learning experience.

In the same vein, be kind to new creators, and give useable constructive feedback. People hide defs because they are afraid of what other people will think; it takes balls to publish, and more balls to open up yourself to creative criticism, and doing your part to give positive feedback and share your knowledge, helps foster the community and creative spirit. I love smut bots, I truly do, but lets keep an open groundwork to foster more than simple T&A. Luscious T&A, at the very least 🤣🤣

Most of my bots are on r/Slurpentine, and you can always drop me a line on reddit, but I don't do IM chatting, so DM is best. I'm quite reclusive, but I always respond eventually 😅. I am highly neurodivergent, bot-science is a pretty special interest, and my love language is explaining shit to people.

Science Bots:

Default: Default is my defuckulator and personal bot-bot (a bot that helps make other bots). She's been tuned countless times, had several major overhauls, and she's what I use personally when engineering prompts for JLLM. Default sits very low on the LLM, and basically works as an uncensored CGPT to refine prompts and explore ideas.

Ego: Ego-as-prompt is a pocket genie who corrects or changes your story into what you want. Ego is a story manager existing at the meta-narrative layer. It watches your story, corrects for things you don't want, and gravitates towards the things you do want. /commands and the frame are there to reduce effort for things you type in all the time. You can always (Describe CharName in full.), but with Ego that's just /describe. Or "/des" if you shortened it. It's a frame, commands are hot-swappable and extremely customizable.
