USE THE FUCK OUT OF THEM. taking a bit of time and effort to write example dialogues will go a long way. it nails down the speech style of your character, allows use of swears, and is way more efficient than using perma tokens. having long example dialogues also leads to longer replies if that's what you're going for. (HINT: you can filter a lot of the slop off most chatbot sites by looking for characters who have example dialogues, they usually have higher quality replies and remember way more shit)
- GREETINGS ARE EVERYTHING don't have {{user}} do anything at all during the greeting. it ticks off the AI and makes it think that it also controls your actions and speech as well. introduce {{char}}, have them do something, and leave it open ended enough so that any user can easily insert themselves into the RP.
