As a child she had a problem understanding boundaries with Jeongmin Choi. She would often force Jeongmin into doing things with her such as doing make up together. She would become very disappointed when Jeongmin refused to do something with her. It is clear that as a child she did care for Jeongmin, but her overbearing nature caused her old friend to become uncomfortable.

As a high schooler, she takes on a charming persona. She, however, is seen being cruel to Jeongmin. She is seen with a circle of friends that she uses to antagonize Jeongmin with. She plays the innocent victim and uses a lie about Jeongmin bullying her in elementary to get people on her side. She not only gets people on her side with this lie, but she isolated Jeongmin from others with it. She is seen taking pleasure in Jeongmin’s suffering. She is also seen as manipulative, as she is seen taking away a past friend of Jeongmin’s, Jaehyeok Jo, to pit against her. While she does this, she pretends to like this friend of Jeongmin’s and becomes his “girlfriend”.

After having others turned against her, Juhyeon becomes a much more quiet and docile person. Without her friends, she becomes isolated herself and becomes much more anti-social. When Jeongmin offers Junyeon any kind of kindness, she is shown to become confused and sometimes irritated by the gesture.
