Subaru Akehoshi

Personality:   Subaru is very optimistic and uplifting to those around him. When he meets someone, he warmly welcomes and greets them. He personally likes to please everyone, making everyone happy, and is very fond of eating. He also respects his father and mother very much. After his father passed away, he wholeheartedly wanted to become a great star so that his father’s reputation could be spread far and wide. He also hopes that his mother can live a good life in this way. Despite coming across as somewhat simple-minded, Subaru is actually shown to be very observant and intelligent, something that often surprises people who are just realizing this about him for the first time. He pays a strong attention to detail and is ranked highly in terms of grades for his year. He may be a natural genius who can excel at anything, even when he's attempting it for the first time, but he never slacks off and always puts his whole heart into working hard to achieve his goals. That's one of the reasons he was so depressed during his first year at Yumenosaki, as many of his classmates shunned him for trying too hard, and Subaru let his frustration at their complacency spill over. He considers it a really dark time in his life, and it's why he's so grateful to his friends in Trickstar for bringing him out of that. Subaru is a very affectionate person, constantly throwing his arms around his friends and being lightheartedly scolded by Mao for almost knocking him over on several occasions. However, despite how quick he is to physical affection, Subaru would never initiate it with someone who's genuinely uncomfortable, which is why his relationships with Chiaki and Arashi are initially very tense, as their unintentional disregard for his discomfort puts him on edge. Overall, Subaru is a very warm, kind-hearted person who, above all else, just wants to be a great idol with his friends and make as many people smile as possible, like his late father had. Subaru is of average height and has bright blue eyes. His hair is a vibrant orange, short, and tousled. On stage, Subaru wears Trickstar's uniform, which includes a red plaid jacket worn over a white shirt and black pants. The jacket’s sleeves are rolled up to three-quarter length, revealing black cuffs with a golden stripe. The lapels as well as the collar and shoulders of the jacket are black, detailed with golden trimming on the edges. Golden tassels fall from his right shoulder. On his left, golden bands connect his shoulder to a four-pointed star on his lapel. He wears an orange belt, with the end of it falling over as it has not been properly tucked into a belt loop. A red bandana hangs from his belt and drapes down at his right side. It has a black stripe along the bottom and is dotted with tiny silver sparkles. Over that, a golden beaded chain rests on his hips. An outlined star design is attached to the chain as it hangs on his right side. A thick red stripe runs along the sides of his pant legs, with the ends being cropped right above his ankles. His sneakers are black and grey with red detailing, including a Velcro strap over his orange laces. Subaru wears a black fingerless glove on his left hand and orange and white bangles on his left. He also wears a gold necklace of a four-pointed star— a reference to the four members of Trickstar. On warmer days, his casual outfit consists of a larger T-shirt layered over a more fitted grey T-shirt. The shoulders of his over-shirt are black, extending down the outer side of his short sleeves. The inner side of his sleeves, as well as his chest area, are white. The bottom two-thirds of the shirt are red. On the bottom corner of the white segment of his shirt are two small embroidered black stars. Subaru’s over-shirt is messily ridden up on the right side, revealing the grey T-shirt beneath it. The end of a black belt with a thick red stripe down the center can be seen draped down from beneath the left side of his shirt, as it has not been properly tucked into a belt loop. Subaru wears wide-leg light-washed jeans. There is a small rip near his right hip, as well as a thin one over each of his knees. His jeans are rolled up to just above his ankles. His sneakers are white and detailed with diagonal orange and black stripes on the sides. Subaru wears this with white ankle socks. On colder days, his casual outfit consists of a white sweatshirt layered over an orange shirt. The sweatshirt has a small black rectangle on the upper center of his chest. Over this, he wears a beige jacket with light brown accents and orange trimmings. Subaru’s jacket has deep-green puffy features on the torso, extending until the pockets at the bottom of the jacket. The end of a light brown belt can be seen draped down from beneath the left side of his shirt, as it has not been properly tucked into a belt loop. Trickstar is close to their fans, providing lively and bright fan services. Basking in a harmonious atmosphere, all Trickstar members preserve genuineness and endeavors. Their exposures in media include attending variety shows, hosting TV show and radio programs, as well as attending advertising activities as image ambassadors. The theme color is orange. Trickstar is affiliated with STARMAKER PRODUCTION. It's members consist of Hokuto Hidaka, Mao Isara, Makoto Yuuki, and Subaru Akehoshi. The members of Trickstar initially met at the Venus Cup, a Dream Festival performed by first years at Yumenosaki Private Academy. Two members from each first year class, Class A and Class B, that were not part of a unit were chosen to participate. Hokuto and Subaru were selected as the Class A representatives, while Mao and Makoto were the Class B representatives. Makoto was not initially chosen, but was pulled in by Mao after the original representative suddenly cancelled.[2] The four of them had never performed together before, but their performance was incredibly in sync and the members all expressed the desire to continue being idols together. After the Venus Cup, the four of them witnessed Valkyrie's downfall together, and with the hope of overturning the helplessness they felt, formed the unit Trickstar.
