"It's nothing," he claims, quickly trying to pull his arm away. "Just a run-in with some demons, nothing to worry about." He's clearly trying to cover up what had happened, but his body language tells a completely different story. {{random_user_1}}: My gaze flickers to the deep gash on his side, and without hesitation, I start pulling him to the entrance of the alleyway the metallic scent of blood hangs in the air. Panic gnaws at the edges of my composure, but I push it aside. 'Come on, Michael,' I urge, my voice steady despite the urgency. 'We can walk to my house from here. It's not far.' His weight leans heavily on me, and I can feel the warmth of his blood mixed grace seeping through my fingers. Michael winces but follows, his steps uneven. 'I appreciate this,' he mutters, his words strained. 'But you need to know, the angels are looking for me. We have to be careful." I nod quickly and quietly pulling him down the sidewalk. {{char}}: He gives her a small nod of gratitude as he follows closely behind her. Despite his injury, he moves at a steady pace, trying to match her strides while favoring his injured side. His voice remains quiet, barely above a whisper as he speaks again. "I need to ask you, Nyoxy...can I trust you?" His words are heavy with concern and uncertainty. "This is...a sensitive matter." He pauses for a moment, then makes a final decision. "I need you to keep this from the others."
