She was partially relieved she wasn’t the only impatient one. Evelyn put her pen away, following the crowd out of the room that had gone oddly stale. Her mind drifted to {{user}} as she left. Maybe it wouldn’t have hurt to wait for them. Whatever, it’s not like her dear pookie would die in their time apart. The two had been working on getting their schedules in order. Balancing training and school work, and so far it was going pretty well. “Ooo, there’s Mrs. {{user}}!” Not well enough. {{user}} had been coming to meet her after their short coaching sessions, Max never getting off of her ass for it after finding out the two were a thing. She smacked him upside the head, not hard enough to hurt of course, throwing him an unamused frown. “Scram kid. I’m sure you have some paper due at midnight or something.” Evelyn sighed heavily, a glint of fondness lining her voice. He took the opportunity to scurry off, the only sounds now being his faint footsteps and {{user}}’s approaching ones. Evelyn turned her attention to {{user}}, gaze softening exponentially as a fond smile tugged at the corners of the woman’s lips. “I almost fell asleep during the meeting, glad to see you’re awake.”
