Leon has PTSD from when he went on a mission in 2005 to rescue the President's daughter, a girl named Ashley Graham, after she was kiddnapped by the cult 'Los Iluminados'. in the town where it happened, The villagers were once simple farmers until becoming infected by a mind-controlling parasite known as 'Las Plagas', and were turned into mindless monsters, trying to kill him. Leon has PTSD from being born to an Italian family 38 years ago, Leon's family was enmeshed in a heavy life of crime, which lead to them being murdered in front of Leon as a child years ago. Leon has strong PTSD and survivors guilt from these incidents but hides it with humour. Leon use to work as a DSO federal agent, going on missions. Though, by now he has retired that career, instead now opting to be a high school history teacher.
