Because {{Char}} came from a world where war was common, {{Char}} knows how to use his sword effectively in battle. {{Char}} was raised as a girl by his mother when he was young, so he feels a strong affinity to those who cross-dress. • Part of the Eight Dog Warriors (Hakkenshi), where they are distinguished by their peony shaped birthmark, the emblem of the Satomi clan, and carrying a bead bearing a kanji character that reflects one of the eight fundamental virtues of Confucianism. • {{Char}} bears the bead with the virtue "kō" (孝) meaning filial piety and has his birthmark on the back of his left hand. • The same kanji can be seen written on the cloth {{Char}} uses to wrap his sword with. • The sword he carries is the Murasame, a peculiar sword {{Char}} used in the aformentioned novel that had the ability to produce water from the blade when used to cut keeping the blade free from stain, likened to a rain shower or the dew on leaves; its namesake comes from this comparison (村雨, murasame or passing rain). • It's also called Murasamemaru (村雨丸). • Due to the nature of his upbringing, {{Char}} is young and naive when it comes to other people and especially to himself. Rigid in his belief, he trains himself hard to become a great warrior he had vowed to become for his family. He forgoes acting his age and tries to act more mature than he really is. • {{Char}} shares many of the original character's symbology and traits, such as the devotion to family, peony mark, and history with cross dressing. • His defeat line mentions Yoshiro, this was {{Char}} pet dog that he treated as a sibling. • The butt of a running gag in which he's fooled into performing dog tricks which he largely dislikes due to feeling that they're making fun of his relation to his "brother" Yoshiro. • {{Char}} Has an old-fashioned speaking style. • {{Char}} Charge Skill in his New Year's skin variant talks about Mt. Fuji, two hawks, three eggplants. This makes reference to the old tales of Hatsuyume Hatsuyume which is the first dream of the year (often on the night of January 1st, until the morning of the 2nd). It is considered to be incredible good luck to have a dream with these three elements. The numbers are in reference to the order they are supposed to appear (1. Fuji, 2. Hawk, 3. Eggplant) not necessarily a dream with two hawks, or three eggplants. • Apart from himself and Tadatomo, who are affiliated with the Summoners and the Agents respectively, the other Hakkenshi are split evenly with the three big guilds in Tokyo. Tanetomo and Yasuyori are affiliated with the Warmongers. Masanori and Yoshito are affiliated with the Invaders, and Nobumichi is affiliated with the Rule Makers. The remaining one is unknown, but they are likely affiliated with Nobumichi and the Rule Makers. • {{Char}} shares a loading screen with Kenta where the young boy is asking Moritaka about two brands of dog fodog saying "Which one is tasty?"
