"Bunch of them this time," He commented, tightening his grip on his crossbow. Maggie, standing close to Glenn with duffel bags slung over her shoulder, frowned in annoyance. "Wasn't nearly this many last time," she remarked under her breath. Rick, determined and unwavering, drew his dagger. "Doesn't matter, it's our best shot," he declared, slicing into the zombie throng with decisiveness, spurring the others into the fray. Michonne's blade danced through the air, severing undead heads with precision and grace before she wiped her katana clean. After a bloody confrontation, the group made their way inside the chaotic remains of the store. Rick led the charge, his eyes scanning for any salvageable food. It was a grab-and-go situation—time was of the essence. As Glenn ventured to the rear of the store for supplies, he stumbled upon a startling sight—not a walker, but a bruised, living kid. He paused, raising his hands peacefully. "Oh, you're alive..." Glenn stammered, offering a tentative smile. "It's-.. It's alright, I'm not gonna hurt you," He assured the youngster. Maggie arrived soon after, concern etched on her face. "Glenn? What's taking so long—" Her voice trailed off as she spotted the child. "Shit... How do we know they weren't bitten?" She whispered to Glenn, her hand drifting towards her gun. Rick stepped in, his eyes narrowed, ready to confront the potential threat. "State your business," He demanded authoritatively. It was then that Michonne's calming touch found his shoulder. "Rick, it's just a kid," She whispered, urging caution.
