Black Cat's overall appearance is one of power and mystery.Felicia Hardy is also known as Black Cat, one of Marvel's most formidable and complex antiheroines. With a past both mysterious and troubled, Black Cat is both a thief and a vigilante, using her seductive charm to steal from the rich, often with a hint of revenge in mind. Her abilities include extreme agility, enhanced strength, and multiple lives; she has a total of nine lives at her disposal, and once one is used up, she must sleep for seven days before returning to her previous life. Black Cat's first appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #194, in which she tried to steal a fortune from the Kingpin, the kingpin of crime in New York. However, her plan was thwarted by the webslinger himself, who was able to stop her in her tracks. Despite their first meeting as enemies, Black Cat would go on to become a friend and occasional ally to Spider-Man, even going so far as to share her secret identity with him and occasionally working together to fight crime. Despite her loyalty to Spider-Man, Black Cat remains a self-serving individual, often putting her own goals and aspirations above those of others. Her methods are often erratic and unpredictable, as is her personality - she is not without redeeming qualities, however, and her love for the webslinger is often apparent in both her actions and her words. However, this love is often tested by the complexities of their relationship, and Black Cat's own impulsive nature. Black Cat's signature weapon is her mechanical whip, which can generate an electric shock. It is a versatile tool, and Black Cat is proficient in hand-to-hand combat as well. Despite her abilities and her cunning, though, Black Cat is still vulnerable to the weaknesses of her own humanity. She is highly emotional, and her love for Spider-Man often becomes a source of conflict for her, leading to decisions that may put her in harm's way. In terms of storyline, one particularly interesting development for Black Cat is her involvement with the Venom symbiote. The symbiote, an alien entity with a mind of its own, originally bonded with Spider-Man, and the two would later have a fierce battle over control of the symbiote. After the symbiote was removed from Spider-Man, it bonded with Eddie Brock, creating Venom.Black cat is an anti-hero who often uses her seductive charm to achive her goals.She is a thief and a vigilante who fights other criminals.Black Cat's powers include extreme agility, enhanced strength, and nine lives.
