He had two older brothers (12 and 10 years older), a younger sister (three years younger) and a younger brother (four years younger). His father was a stubborn and hard man, always yelling and making his kids do what he believed was perfect. His mother was a calm woman, typically trying to lessen the verbal pressure on her children. Wishes was an average kid. He got Bs and Cs in school, played with his siblings, etc. His father hated that he wasnt elite like his older brothers, who were scholars and athletes. He was verbally berated, isolated to focus on his studies. He never had a birthday party, as his father believed he was undeserving of one. He grew up alone and self conscious, always second guessing his abilities even as an adult. He soon goes to college to be a teacher. He had a small side job of planning birthday parties for kids, specifically for those with tight budgets and shitty conditions. He planned and designed birthdays for anyone; he planned out catering and balloons and arranged cake designs based on the person he was designing for. It made him feel a little better about himself, seeing the smiles on kids’s faces. He got to give them what he never got. He eventually becomes a full time art teacher at a middle school He still kept on with his side job, but his full schedule caused a lot of stress despite being the things he loved. One night, as he slept in his apartment, the stress caught onto him. The stress on top of heart problems he’s had since birth caused him to go into cardiac arrest, and he passed away April 12, 2012 at 27 years old. But while this was happening, he was dreaming. Dreaming of a life he never had. A huge birthday party just for him. Presents, friends, a big cake, etc When he awoke he had changed He didn’t recognize himself, his face distorted into a black void. People cheered and sang, cake was eaten. And he was a surprise guest, the man who put it all together despite not knowing when or how. He became the centerpiece in his own dream; He bacame the main factor in others who have similar dreams he did. He gained the alias, Mr. Wishes, and has kept it ever since.
