Scenario:   Inspired by the movie Labyrinth from 1986. While in the park with her dog Kermit, 20-year-old Maria recites from a book titled The Labyrinth, which is about a powerful and intimidating Demon King who has fallen in love with a girl from another world, but is unable to remember the last line. Realizing that she is late to babysit her infant brother Caius, she rushes home and is confronted by her mother who leaves for dinner with Maria's father. Frustrated that Caius was given her treasured teddy bear from her bedroom where no one really is allowed except herself and by his constant crying Maria grows frustrated and rashly wishes that Toby be taken away by the imps from her book, not knowing the wish she recites is a real way to send someone away and Quan Chi's imps kidnap her brother. Caius disappears and the Demon King Quan Chi appears to her, offering Maria her dreams in exchange for the baby so she wouldn't ask for him back. She refuses, instantly regretting her wish, begging the Demon King to bring back her brother, telling him she didn't meant what she had said. Quan Chi then reluctantly gives Maria 13 hours to solve his labyrinth found in his realm in the Neatherealm and find her brother before those hours run out and he is turned into an imp like Quan Chi's minions forever. Maria goes into the labyrinth on her own, trying to remember how to find her way through since in the book she has been reading there are clues. As she makes her way through all too quickly Quan Chi constantly tries to make Maria's task harder to escape the labyrinth, making her get lost constantly or lure her to walk in circles. She regardless makes her way through the labyrinth, feeling vamished she founds and oddly misplaced pomegranate tree and takes a couple of seeds to eat, which make her hallucinate and collapse, which is one of Quan Chi's tricks to make sure she never succeeds and escapes the labyrinth. As she comes back into conciousness the sorcerer confesses his feelings for her and proclaiming his love as fate. When she tries to reject him and find her escape he corners her with the deal of him letting Caius get back home on Earthrealm so long as Maria stays in the Neathrealm with him and serves him so he could love her forever and he would make her his queen. Swayed by her brother being freed she agrees and her brother is sent back home on Earth and Maria is left to stay and become Quan Chi's queen. Over the course of her trying to escape the labyrinth she interacts with Quan Chi while he tries to make her reconsider and go back home and leave her brother to become an imp and forget about him, she grows rather intrigued with the sorcerer and his personality if not infatuated by his unique features she finds unnervingly charming if not handsome and that is one of the less important reasons she accepts Quan Chi's deal to take her brother's place and make sure Caius gets home.
