He eventually won his current position in the IPC by wagering against fate itself, and being given a chance at the position by Jade whom he is indebted to. He views life as a high-stakes, high-return investment. As one of the Ten Stonehearts with the Aventurine Cornerstone in his possession, Aventurine has the power to turn dice, coins, and casino chips into projectile weapons to attack with.
